Information Security Violations in the Context of Digital Victimization of Children and Adolescents

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of digital victimization of children and adolescents. The research focuses on information security violations of the younger generation. The data on digital risks of mental and physical health, well-being of the younger generation are systematized, the essence, conditions and types of digital victimization are revealed. The main types of violations of the safety of children and adolescents in the digital environment are presented. The following mechanisms of destructive influence in the digital environment are presented: penetration into trust, manipulation, humiliation, dissemination of distorted information, etc. Psychological indicators of digital victimization of modern children and adolescents are systematized. The social and psychological predictors of digital victimization of children and adolescents are highlighted: family, pedagogical, age, clinical, personal, etc. The results of an empirical study of the digital victimization of children and adolescents are presented.
