Abstract

The study is devoted to the analysis of digital inequality as a factor of crime. The paper provides a brief overview of the general theory of causality, the mechanism of causality of crime, reveals the socio-economic block, which is presented by the author as a stimulant of the growth of criminogenicity. Special attention in the article is given to the analysis of digital inequality as a factor of criminogenicity.
In the course of the study, the author concludes that in the coming years digital inequality will be intensively manifested in society and create a general unfavorable background for the commission of digital crimes. To reduce negative trends in society, it is proposed, taking into account the results of criminological monitoring, to theoretically justify and develop comprehensive approaches to solving the problems of poverty, migration, social and digital inequality.
